Let us start by acknowledging that God is God and that if the Word of God is true, it must all be true. God does not tell partial truths. Moses reminds us, “God is not a man, that he should lie; neither the son of man, that he should repent: hath he said, and shall he not do it or has he spoken, and shall he not make it good” (Numbers 23:19)? If the Word of God is true, creation is true, and if creation is true, the devil has constructed lies and half-truths to take us from the narrow path, to lead us away from God. Do not believe in evolution, carbon dating, and the geologic column because someone told you that it is true. Neither believe in creation because I tell you that is true. The arrogant and prideful boasts of imperfect men require examination, not acceptance. I have examined the creation story and I have examined the predominant theories of man’s existence. What I found was that the Word of God is reinforced in truth and evolution, carbon dating, and the geologic column are the hollow legs of a three-legged stool that contradicts the Word of God.

Probably the most relied upon leg of the three-legged stool supporting the devil’s argument against God’s creation is carbon dating. Contrary to proven science, carbon dating assumes the existence of mathematical constants for atmospheric levels of Carbon Dioxide and the speed of light, both of which, modern science has shown to change over time. Simultaneous mathematical manipulation of numbers as large as the speed of light and as small as a percentage of one part per million parts exponentially increase the smallest error in orders of magnitude when multiplied, squared, cubed, and divided to determine values in terms of millions of years. The same science that claims the bones of dinosaurs are 60-million-years-old, tells us that living crustaceans are from the future and the age of inert moon rocks can be measured. Radiocarbon dating was born of evil to support blasphemous claims of evolution and further attempts to lessen the Word of God.

For those who don’t not know, the geologic column refers to a theory that the deeper something is buried, the older it is. Assuming that the entire earth is sediment, everything is being buried at the same rate and a 60-million-years-old dinosaur is buried deeper than a 40-million-years-old dinosaur. This all sounds good till you see a fossilized tree standing between multiple strata representing millions of years. Such trees would have had to remain standing for millions of years after death to have been buried in such a fashion. The geologic column has no recognition of the great flood and ignores the fact that skeletons of men have been found at the same depth and strata as dinosaurs, sometimes in the same grave.

Without radiocarbon dating and the geologic column, the weakest leg of the devil’s stool, evolution stands by itself. Evolution was born as the fanciful day dream of an observant man who noticed adaption of species and interpreted those changes to indicate the possibility of a new and improved species that would transition from an inferior species. Having no Godly foundation, it seemed a possibility to Darwin at the time and he set out to prove his theory, which he never did. Rather than confirming evolution, the resulting world-wide search for a missing link served to disavow Darwin’s fanciful dream.

There are numerous fossils of a sixty-million-year-old monster fish that had a makeup so different from any other fish that it can only be described as prehistoric. The Coelacanth had enamel covered teeth and hand-like fins that connected directly to its backbone. More closely related to reptiles and mammals than ray-finned fishes, the Coelacanth has long been considered by evolutionists to be a transitional species between fish and tetra pods (four-footed species). The vertebrate-to-land transition is considered by evolutionists to be one of the most important substantiating steps to support evolutionary history.

Today, the Coelacanth is the most famous of all “living fossils” because it is the best-known example of a “Lazarus Taxon,” that is, animals that were supposed to be long extinct and were unexpectedly found to be alive. Coelacanths were supposed to have become extinct in the Cretaceous period, along with many dinosaurs, but in 1938, a live specimen was caught off the coast of South Africa, nearly eighty years after Darwin’s publication. Since 1938, more Coelacanths have been seen and photographed. With the discovery of a second colony in the deep waters off the coast of Indonesia in 1999, there are now at least two known surviving Coelacanth colonies. As demonstrated by the fact that a supposed 60-million-year-old species is exactly the same today as it was 60-million-years-ago, there really doesn’t seem to be that much going on with evolution. As it is with God’s creation, the Coelacanth was initially designed perfectly. With no proof or evidence of a single transition, prideful men cling to a ghost. God and creation are beyond their reach and the devil has a firm hold.

Conflicting with the boasts of evolution, carbon dating, and the geologic column that jointly proclaim dinosaurs are millions of years old, God first introduced the Sauropod, the largest of all dinosaurs to Job when he described the majestic creature known as the behemoth, meaning colossal beast a little more than 7000 years ago (Job 40:15-24). After explaining to Job that God is the master designer, God describes thirteen of his created animals (Job 38:1-39:30) before describing his two grandest creations, the behemoth and the leviathan. God calls the behemoth the first of all his ways, meaning the first in rank, the chief, the most supreme of his creative works. In context, God is saying to Job, sit down, brace yourself, and now I will tell you of the chief of all my works, the biggest, most amazing land creature I ever made. When we scan through all land-dwelling animals, both living and extinct, the first in rank, the most colossal, or the chief, is clearly the Sauropod.

Supporting the story of Job, the Nazca Indians not only coexisted with dinosaurs, but they interacted with them in their day-to-day lives. Recovered from their tombs, the Nazca Indian Culture of South America is notable for having dinosaur motifs in their tapestry, pottery and engraved burial stones; all created centuries before dinosaurs were re-discovered as fossils. Over 50,000 Inca burial stones have been found in Peru since 1961. In 1945, a German immigrant riding a horse along an irrigation ditch on the side of El Toro Mountain saw that a small landslide had revealed baked clay figurines sticking out of the soil and he began to excavate them. Decades of excavation have uncovered tens of thousands of these clay figurines, many depicting known types of dinosaurs. Not only that, but thermoluminescence dating has shown them to be more than twice as old as similar clay dinosaur figurines found in Peru. Archeologists have dated the figurines to between 800 BC and 200 AD. Many of the figurines depict dinosaur traits and structures not known or confirmed by science until the end of the twentieth century.

In 2010, paleontologist, Dr. Mary Schweitzer put some T-Rex bone fragments in acid to dissolve away the outer-most layer of minerals, but the acid worked too fast and by the time she returned, all the minerals of the fragments had dissolved. Being a sixty-eight-million-year-old fossil, there should have been nothing left, but there it was, elastic, like living tissue. According to Schweitzer, it looked like the tissue that she would expect to find in a modern bone. Not believing what she had found, Professor Schweitzer and her technician repeated the process again and again. In sample after sample, there appeared to be what looked like flexible and transparent blood vessels and intact cells. What Mary found inside dinosaur bones posed a radical challenge to existing science that dictates no soft tissue can survive for even ten thousand years, let alone eighty million years in the presence of insects, microbes, rodents, plants, and fungal bodies. At last count, fifty-plus scientific journals have documented fourteen bio-organic materials in dinosaur bones, all testifying to dinosaurs being less than 10,000-years-old. They include: blood vessels, red blood cells, hemoglobin, bone cells, ovalbumin, kinetin, unmineralized bone, collagen, limited DNA, skin pigments, FEX proteins, histones, keratin, and elastin.

James Dawson, Chief of Engineering and Operations for the Lunar and Earth Science Division at the Manned Spacecraft Center, NASA, was one of several scientists chosen to determine the age of moon rocks. Dawson confesses that he and other scientists were almost, “excommunicated from NASA” when they conclusively determined that the so-called Genesis rock could not be more than 20,000 years-old. Pressured by NASA to date the moon rocks at four billion years or greater, Mr. Dawson argued, “. . . radiation counts are almost fictitious, because you don't know what was there to start with. …What do you do if every rock out there is a mixture? I mean, how many pure rocks do you have? Diamond. Okay.” Eventually, the Genesis rock was divided into six pieces and dated many, many times. Ages ranged from 2.5 billion to 4.6 billion years, a 500% difference from the same sample. These were the numbers most closely aligning with the numbers published by NASA.

Running through their calculations, James and his colleagues were able to successful show that the theory of light-speed decay yields a timescale closely aligning to the biblical story of creation. Criticizing the science of radiocarbon dating, Dawson believed that the scientists were essentially correct, “they're just using the wrong time scale as a function of what the solar time scale is.” James and his colleagues published this theory, but nobody in the United States would pick it up. James later said, “If we had applied that back at the ‘looney lab,’ we would have probably got a completely different set of time frames. We know that the decay of the Earth's magnetic field indicates it's not more than 20,000 years old.”

I looked into every claimed contradiction between truth and the Word of God. I researched the flood of Noah, biblical giants, and Jona being swallowed by a great fish. Each time I looked, I found worldly proof and confirmation of God’s Word. When I looked to the alternative, I found only doubt, inconsistencies, miscalculations, contradictions, assumptions, and lies. Any informed person would conclude, “…God created man in his image, in the image of God, created he him; male and female created he them” (Genesis 1:27).
